Book: By Fire, By Moonlight

This book is written by Mary Stanton. This book is really good. It is the fourth book in the Unicorns of Balinor series. The series is about a girl and she is from another world but she and her unicorn get stuck in our world and she has no memory of her past and she has too get back too her world. I read the first three a while ago and it took a while too get what was going on in this book. It takes a while for things to start happening. I liked the characters in this book and they seemed real. In the book it is easy too picture what is happening. Once you start reading it you won't want to stop. I think the age groups that would like this book are 8-12. The ending makes you want too read the next book in the series.

Book: Who's Got Spirit?

This book is written by Nancy Krulik. This book is ok. This is the seventh book in the How I Survived Middle School series. This book is about a girl and her school has a school spirit week and her friends are trying too have more school spirit than the group of popular kids. This book didn't seem very realistic. I don't like the characters in this book and the main character is really annoying. In this series the main character always talks about a website that she goes on a lot and it seems like the series of books are like an advertisement for the website. I think the age groups that would like this book are 8-11. In this series it doesn't really matter the order you read them in.

Book: Stalk, Don't Run

This book is written by Carolyn Keene. It is one of the newer Nancy Drew books and is the last book of the Malibu Mayhem trilogy. This book is good. The trilogy is about when Nancy and her friends go too California in a house by the beach and a lot of weird things start happening. The original ones are a lot better than the new ones. It's a bit predictable and easy too guess what will happen. The characters are not very good and don't seem real. I think the age groups that would like this book are 8-11. The ending wasn't good and they didn't have the mystery completely solved until the last couple of pages and I didn't like that.

I think the age groups that would like this book are 10-14. The ending was good and it makes you want too read the next book.

The chapters are short. It is a bit creepy and weird. Once you start reading you don't want to stop. The characters are good and I like them. I think the age groups that would like this book are 10-14. The ending was good but I wish there was a sequel.

Book: Your Life but Better

This book is written by Crystal Velasquez. This book is really good. In the book at the end of  every chapter there is a quiz and the mark you get on it decides what you would do and where too go in the book. The character that was supposed too be me was not alot like me in the beginning but as it went on she got more like me. This book doesn't take very long too read. I think the age groups that would like this book would be 10-13.

Book: Scat

This book is written by Carl Hiaasen. This book is good. This book is about a class and when they go on a field trip too a swamp there is a fire and one of the teachers goes missing and two of the kids are trying to find out more about it. It is not how I thought it would be. In this book it is easy too picture what is happening. Once you start reading this book you don't really want too stop. The characters are a bit weird. In the book it goes to different people and you don't really know why they are there until you read more. I think the age groups that would like this book are 10-14. The ending was good and I really liked it.

Book: Wings

This book is written by E.D. Baker. I loved this book! It's about a girl who is a bit weird because her freckles look like sparkles and when there is a full moon she feels like dancing and then she grows wings. There is a new boy at her school and he seems a bit weird too and when she is at his Halloween party she gets kidnapped by goblins. In this book things start happening right away and it is exiting and once you start reading it you won't want too stop. If you are going too read it, it is worth buying. The characters are good and I liked them. The beginning part is written twice but in more of two different people's point of view and I thought that was interesting. Some parts of the book are funny. I think the age groups that would like this book would be 11-15. The ending is good but I wish there was a sequel but I don't think there is.

Book: The Frog Princess

This book is written by E.D. Baker. This book is very good. It's about a girl who is a princess and she is at the swamp one day and a frog tells her that he is a prince and that a witch cast a spell on him and if she will kiss he will turn back into a human and she does kiss him and that turns her into a frog and he stays frog and they try too turn back into humans. It is the first book in a series called Tales Of The Frog Princess. Things start happening right away in the book and I like that. It is easy too picture what is going on in this book. When the girl is talking you don't really realise she is a frog and I like that. This book is a bit funny. I think the age groups that would like this book are 9-13. I can imagine a bit what the next book in the series will be about.

Book: Mockingbird

This book is written by Kathryn Erskine. This book is good. It's about a girl and her older brother died and it's just her and her dad and when she reads the definition of closure in the dictionary she tries too find it. This book is a bit sad. It is easy too picture what is happening in this book. The talking is wrote like it is thinking and that was a bit confusing in the beginning. The chapters are short and a lot of time passes between each chapter. I think this book would be good for the age groups 9-12. The ending was really good and I liked it.

Book: Savvy

This book is written by Ingrid Law. This book is really good. It's about a girl and in her family when they turn thirteen they get a power they call their savvy, and a couple of days before the girl's thirteenth birthday her dad gets into an accident and he goes too the hospital with her mom and she thinks she can help him so she tries to get to him. This book is different than I thought it would be but I'm glad it was like this. The book has good characters and they seem real and in the book everyone else is normal except for that family and I like how that happened. Some parts of the beginning are confusing but it gets easier too get as it goes on. I think this book would be good for the age groups 10-13. The ending is good but I'm not sure how he sequel will be.

Book: Hatchet

This book is written by Gary Paulsen. This book is good. It's about a boy who is on a plane visiting his dad because his parents are divorced and the plane crashes in the woods so he has too survive in the woods by him self and pretty much the only thing he has is a hatchet. Some of the things he has to do to survive are gross. Some parts of this book are a bit boring. I think this book would be good for the age groups 11-14. This book was how I expected it too be but I as I was coming near the end I didn't expect the ending.

Book: You Wish

This book is written by Mandy Hubbard. This book is really good.  It's about a girl and on her sixteenth birthday she wishes that all her birthday wishes would come true because they never do and all her birthday wishes from her past birthdays start coming true . This book is really funny because some of the wishes are really funny and weird. I think the age groups that would like this book would be all teenagers. The ending is good but it did not explain how the wishes came true but it was still good.

Book: Holes

This book is written by Louis Sachar. This book is ok.  The first half is boring but it gets better and more things happen. The book is about a boy who is accused of stealing something that he really didn't steal but no one believes him so as a punishment he has too go to a camp where he has too dig holes all day. Sometimes when I was reading the main character got a bit annoying. In the book they had parts where it went back about a hundred years ago and explained some things and I liked those parts. I don't think this is a good book too read if you don't have a lot of time to read because it is not that good. On the back of the book it said it was humourous but I didn't think it was and there was two little parts at the end which were a bit funny.   I think this book would be good for the age groups 10-13. I liked the ending of the book but some things were unexplained.
